Willow Cottage - Our smallest cottage: a cosy bedroom and living room with a wood-burner and upstairs, a mezzanine level nestled beneath the eaves. The main living area is open up to the eaves with a dining area, cream shaker kitchen and a clearview wood burner. The original features of this old barn have been retained, including exposed beams and flintwork. There is a leather sofa and two easy chairs and a TV and DVD player and Wi-Fi access point. A small step leads down to the cozy double bedroom (double sized bed) with ensuite bathroom with powerful thermostatically controlled shower over the bath. There is also a gallery looking down into the lounge which provides even more living space (or a separate place to read) for this characterful cottage and can also double up as additional sleeping for up to two people, one on a day bed and one on a camp bed which is more suitable for a child. The gate at the top of the stairs makes this area suitable for some children. There is an extra charge for gallery linen, which is automatically added in during booking if for more than 2 people. Please be aware the bathroom can only be accessed through the downstairs double bedroom.

Why its great for families?

You will be entertained for hours on the Play Park. Bounce on the super-safe spring-free trampoline. Hold on tight when you ride the zip wire (our favourite) and the big slide! For younger children, there are swings and two play pits plus three ride-on John Deere tractors. Older children can explore the barns, build dens on the Camp ground and ride their bikes around the fields. Whole new worlds open up when broadband speeds slow down!
